Which Janitor Cart is Right for You?

TheJanitorialStore.com If you clean commercial accounts, then you'll need a way to collect large amounts of trash because carrying around a large trash can liner will never work! Many janitor carts serve two purposes : 1) they can be used to collect trash throughout the building, and 2) they can hold other cleaning and restroom supplies.

Below are some of the common types of janitor carts:

1. Brute/Dolly/Caddy. This combination is very effective for many smaller sized accounts where you need to get around quickly and easily. The "brute" is a trash can that is attached to a "dolly", which is a sturdy cart on wheels. You can also buy a "caddy", which fits on the rim of the brute so you can empty trash and carry your supplies at the same time. Or if you prefer, you can get a caddy "bag" or "apron", which fits around the outside of the brute.

2. Cleaning Trolly. This is a heavy duty cart with shelves to carry supplies, holders for mops, brooms and dustpans, and a wire frame trash bag holder.

3. Janitor Cart. This cart has three shelves for supplies, holders for mops, brooms and dustpans, a wire frame trash bag holder, and a shelf to hold a mop bucket or vacuum cleaner.

The cart you decide to use will largely depend on the size and type of account you'll be cleaning. Using professional equipment will go a long ways towards increasing your overall efficiency, which in turn will increase your profits!
