Do you have experience writing informative articles that add educational value?  If you possess any of these qualities please read the following guidelines to find out what types of material we accept for inclusion at The Janitorial Store (TM). 

Your Article SHOULD:

• Be not only informative, but include information about your knowledge of a particular subject.
• Be something of interest to our members.  They are looking for information on the various aspects of running a small cleaning business including cleaning tips, equipment information, marketing, financial, overall business strategies, and practical tips for running a small business that they can use on a daily basis.
• Be original work and not written by someone else.
• Be 300 to 800 words in length.  You can feel free to use bullet points or numbered outlines when appropriate.
• Remember to include a resource box at the bottom of the article.  This should be a brief, 1-3 sentences that includes your biography, first and last name, company name, and a link to your web site.  Do not include an e-mail address or phone number.

Your article SHOULD NOT:

• Be an advertisement for your business -- this also includes press releases or self-promotional pieces.
• Have any links in the body of the article.  You may include a link to your website in the resource box.
• Include any information that is in violation of any law, be considered defamatory, or libelous.
• Include any type of HTML code, Javascript or other advanced HTML code or tags.
• Include links to any types of files or photos.

You may include a copyright notice if you wish.  This must be placed at the bottom of the article.

Keep in mind that we do not pay for your articles.  Also, by submitting your articles to us you are granting permission for us to run the article wherever we see fit on our web site; this may be on a public or members only area.

If your article contains information that we feel is of value to our members and we choose to publish it, we will contact you and let you know when the article will appear on our site. We reserve the right to remove articles at any time.
