How to Clean Whiteboards
Some manufacturers claim that you don't need water or chemicals to clean their whiteboards. However you're probably already aware that when ink is left on a white board for long periods of time, there is faint shadow of the ink left on the board. The first step to take before cleaning a whiteboard is to check to see if the client has the manufacturer's instructions for cleaning, and then follow those instructions. If they don't have the instructions but you know the manufacturer, contact them to get the proper cleaning instructions. Encourage your clients to clean the boards at least once a week. If ink is left on longer than that it can leave permanent stains. Cautions:
