VIDEO: MondoVap Steam Cleaner at 2008 BSCAI Convention

This video was shot at the 2008 BSCAI Convention and Trade Show. If you've ever considered investing in steam cleaning equipment then this demonstration will show you a number of different ways you can use the MondoVap steam cleaning system.

Video Recap:

The MondoVap Steam Cleaner has been developed by the Advanced Vapor Technologies company. With this machine you can clean, disinfect, and sanitize at the same time. Not all germicides kill all germs. You have to look at efficacy sheets and dwell times to know which product to use. Dwell, or contact, times can be anywhere from 30 seconds to 10 minutes or more. With the MondoVap, 5-7 seconds of dwell time will kill 100% of all bacteria. With their proprietary TANCS system (Thermal Accelerated Nano Crystal Sanitation) spore-bearing organisms will also be killed.

The MondoVap will give 1 hour and 15 minutes of uninterrupted operation. When the water runs out, the reservoir is filled and operation continues without waiting for the pressure to build up.

There are many types of attachments, including a grout cleaner and a wall cleaner that will clean a 10-foot high wall without using a ladder. There is also a window cleaning attachment that cleans with steam instead of ammonia. A stainless steel attachment will clean years of carbon build-up in an over in just 2 minutes.

Add about 20% of time to regular cleaning rates to account for the sanitation process. Remind your clients of this benefit. The machine will eliminate odors and the need for battery-operated deodorizers in restrooms. The TANCS option will kill mold and mildew spores.

There is also an upholstery attachment for cleaning furniture and office partitions without overwetting like extraction does. The machine uses regular 110/115 voltage and there are 2 pressure settings--30 psi and 66 psi.

There are two versions of the machine--the red MondoVap for $2995 and the white VaporJet for $2495. Internally, both machines are the same, but the VaporJet control is on the machine body instead of the handle and it comes with fewer attachments. The TANCS option is $300 more, but extends the boiler warranty from one year to eight years.
