"Jean and Steve - I just wanted to let you guys know a couple of things. First, my business has been suffering lately so this weekend I started putting out flyers again for my residential customers using the templates from your website. When I got home I logged into the website and saw all of your new sales letters for commercial use and also listened to the 2 hour marketing class audio. I am on fire now! I was thinking to myself, how can I market to businesses? I have been wanting to send out letters but did not have a clue where to start writing until now. Thanks to you I now have a PLAN. It feels good to know what I am going to do. I know you probably get tired of hearing this....but I do not know what I would do without you guys. I have looked high and low and there is nobody else in the industry that offers what you all do for the value. Just wanted to say thanks:)" Diana Robinson, Snellville GA
" I just want to say thank you for a great resource center. After spending 5-6 years as a mom and pop janitor service, I set my sights on becoming a leader in our area. With you, its like having franchise help without the cost. We now have a growing operation of 20 plus employees and the piece of mind that we are on top of our game. From sales, to bidding jobs, to human resources, to customer satisfaction. Thank you." Dave Norton, Bloomington, IL
"This site is by far the best tool for anyone in the industry!!!" Marlon Moss, Clean N Clear, Charlotte, NC
"We just won our first rather large post construction bid. We were in the same ballpark as the competitors but the general contractor stated our bid was much more specific and professional looking. THANKS TO THIS SITE!!!!" Sean Canning, 911 Commercial Cleaning Inc., Lincoln Park, NJ
"I was on the verge of giving up when I found this sight and now I am planning and reading everything on this website. I Thank God for the both of you. I bet you I have asked about 100 questions in the last 2-3 weeks. You guys Rock!" Patricia Myers, Mr. Klean Services, LLC, Kansas City, Missouri |

Office Etiquette for Cleaning Staff
Steve Hanson
Company policies are developed in order to keep all
cleaning staff on the same page. Policies must also be enforced regarding proper
behavior of the cleaning staff while on the job. The following tips can be
helpful when training new employees or useful reminders for long-tem
employees:
- Do NOT use any property of the client. This
includes copy machines, fax machines, computers, radios, stereos, calculators,
etc.
- Do NOT turn on or off any equipment while carrying
out your duties.
- NEVER sit at desks, or open any drawers, doors,
cabinets, or any container not directly involved in the performance of your
work.
- It is not appropriate for cleaning staff to read
books or examine papers in offices.
- Never bring children, family, or friends to
work.
- Do NOT eat or drink any food, candy, snacks,
sodas, etc. that are in the offices -- including candy sitting at the
receptionist desk -- this is client property and is for their employees and
customers. It is ok to purchase a soda or snack out of a vending machine,
however, as long as it is not being consumed in the offices where you are
cleaning.
- Do NOT make personal calls or other calls from any
telephone in the offices. If you use a telephone timekeeping system, there
should be a designated phone that is approved for emergency use. Otherwise,
check with your supervisor on proper procedures for phone use.
- Do NOT take anything that has been thrown away by
the client. Misunderstandings can result in cleaning staff being accused of
theft.
